To make the chat enjoyable for everybody, here are the ground rules:
- English only please, we welcome users from all over the world, but using this chat room means that you agree to write in English so that everyone can understand you.
- NO AOL speak, for example, do not use "u" and "r" instead of "you" and "are", and no "ZOMG!!11!" please either. Use normal English.
- NO discussion or asking about illegal episode downloading or viewing - this includes youtube, putfile, torrents and anthing else you can think of that hasn't been approved by Nickelodeon. Asking for an illegal download or intentionally spoiling an episode gets you banned.
- NO flooding of any kind.
- NO spamming other channels or websites without permission.
- NO annoying/bothering/threatening users, operators or other channels.
- NO bots or automated chat scripts/client without permission.
- NO impersonating the operators or ASN staff or pretending to be a character from Avatar. You're not.
- Do NOT make fun/threaten/harass of the webmasters or operators.
- Do NOT threaten, beg or bribe the operators to give you operator powers.
Violation of these rules will result in a warning and/or kick from the room. If you return and do it again, you'll get banned. So be on your best behavior and make the chat enjoyable for everyone.
Starting Friday, 9/21/2007, you will not be able to send private messages using the applet If you want to send private messages to other people, please get an IRC client (see the ones listed below).

If nobody is talking in the chatroom, it means that they are busy elsewhere. Please be patient until they return or try again at a different time.

User Agreement: By entering the chat I will obey the rules outlined above and will not complain about them (not even when I get kicked for violating them). The chatroom is not as tolerant as the forums. Idiocy and annoyance from chatters is not tolerated. The chatroom is PG-13 and higher, and is not a politically correct environment. If you can't take a joke, don't join. We talk about more than just Avatar, so don't complain about it. We also don't care if you're bored. No excessive quotation marks or caps of any kind.
